We are looking for a friendly and reliable Full Time Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our team to ensure our guests receive the highest quality facilities, accommodations, and amenities at our resorts.
The Assistant Housekeeping Manager, You Will
Organize daily work load of Department to create streamlined work flow. Complete daily, weekly and monthly office support to include scheduling and billing for work performed, coordinating vendors, supplies, etc. Oversee inspection staff and assist with staff training. Support Housekeeping Manager for effective operation and positive work environment of Housekeeping Department.
Essential Functions
- Create Daily Housekeeping Work Chart and assign work.
- Coordinate work assignments based on staffing levels and scheduled check-ins/departures/room moves.
- Communicate with Front Desk staff regarding guest requests and expected check-ins/departures.
- Supervise and support department inspection staff:
- Create manageable workloads.
- Ensure all inspections and follow-ups occur to complete room cleans.
- Proper communication and use of RDP Work Order system between department Managers, Front Desk and Unit Maintenance for timely check-ins/departures, repairs, and guest services.
- Review all daily housekeeping work to record housekeeping piecework and billing of customers, and keep track of all completed work including contract and non-contract (billable) work.
- Create invoices for all billable work and inventory completed by housekeeping staff and vendors
- Submit to Accounting weekly.
- Keep detailed records of all billings, and maintain organized file system.
- Order department supplies as needed and/or delegated by Executive Housekeeper.
- Maintain Housekeeping office for organization and cleanliness.
- Assist Executive Housekeeper to conduct bi-annual training sessions for all staff.
- Work with Executive Housekeeper and department staff pertaining to direction, daily organization, and task streamlining.
- Oversee daily operation of Laundry Department as needed or as directed by Housekeeping Manager.
- Position is a working manager supporting the Executive Housekeeper and department as/when needed with billing and inventory as well inspections and cleans.

Knowledge And Skills
- Housekeeping Experience.
- Supervisory Experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and without supervision.
- Ability to work well in a team-work environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
Requirements
- Must have Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to work weekends, and holidays
