HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT MANAGER

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai seeks a Housekeeping Assistant Manager who shares a passion for excellence and infuses enthusiasm into their work. This role offers the opportunity to shape guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in every interaction. Work authorization is required.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Oversee the Housekeeping operation, including managing staff, conducting training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Conduct orientation and track training for new employees, ensuring understanding of policies, standards, and equipment use, including chemical safety.
  • Schedule daily work, monitor progress, inspect rooms, and coach staff to meet standards. Coordinate work orders and ensure rooms are ready for sale.
  • Monitor performance of House Attendants, ensure sufficient supplies, and check cleanliness of guest areas.
  • Handle guest requests and problems, providing high-level hospitality and professionalism.
  • Manage department expenses, including labor, supplies, and maintenance costs. Reconcile transactions and inventory.
  • Ensure safety, security, and satisfaction of guests and staff, responding swiftly to emergencies.
  • Manage a team of Room and House Attendants, including interviews, training, scheduling, and evaluations.
