Friendsview in Newberg, OR is seeking an Assistant Head Housekeeper to lead a care-focused housekeeping team. You will train staff, ensure quality, and step in when leadership coverage is needed while performing hands-on cleaning and maintaining safe spaces across our community.

This leadership role rewards proactive, people-centered leaders with an eye for detail; bilingual English/Spanish is a big plus as we serve diverse residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of housekeeping or related experience.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish is a big plus.
• Some leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to stay on top of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Train and support new housekeeping staff, ensuring they are confident and set up for success.
• Assist with inspections, quality checks, and safety audits.
• Perform deep-cleaning tasks, stock supplies, handle laundry, and keep common areas and resident rooms sparkling.
• Support residents and team members with friendliness, respect, and a service-first mindset.
• Step into the Supervisor role when needed—scheduling, coverage, and coordination.
