Salary: $78,000 - $84,000 /year

Job Summary

As Assistant Hospitality Manager, you will plan, organize, and coordinate catering events to meet client needs, overseeing the entire process from initial meetings to event execution, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their catering requirements, preferences, and budgets.
  2. Menu Planning: Collaborate with chefs to create customized menus considering dietary restrictions.
  3. Event Coordination: Manage logistics, staffing, setup, and breakdown of events.
  4. Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
  5. Staff Supervision: Manage catering staff, ensuring proper training and standards.
  6. Budget Management: Develop and oversee budgets for catering events.
  7. Quality Control: Maintain high standards in food quality, presentation, and service.
  8. Event Marketing: Work with marketing teams to promote services and attract clients.
  9. Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and licensing regulations.
  10. Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive client relationships, addressing issues promptly.
Qualifications
  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • General hospitality knowledge, interest in sustainability
  • At least two years of experience in catering or event management
