Crossroads Talent Solutions, LLC is recruiting an Associate/Assistant Historian to support the Deputy Under Secretary of the Navy for Management (DUSN(M)). You will collaborate with the Secretariat Historian to develop and augment a range of processes, products, and services essential to Navy historical duties.
You will help manage plans, archives, and outreach efforts, coordinating with DRMD, NHHC, and other historians to ensure accurate, timely historical records and public communications.

This position is an Assistant Historian in the Programs and Integration Division (PID), a division in the Deputy Under Secretary of the Navy for Management (DUSN (M)). DUSN(M) is a directorate reporting to the Under Secretary of the Navy. The primary purpose of this position is to collaborate closely with the Secretariat Historian, helping develop, supporting and augmenting a variety of processes, products, and services.
The supervisor assigns specific projects in terms of issues, organizations, functions, or work processes to be studied and sets deadlines for completing the work. Where two or more projects are involved, the supervisor may assign priorities among the various projects as well as deadlines for the attainment of specific milestones within a project. The supervisor or higher-grade analyst provides assistance on controversial issues or on the application of qualitative or quantitative analytical methods to the study of subjects for which precedent studies are not available. Work is reviewed for conformance with overall requirements as well as contribution to the objectives of the study. Findings and recommendations developed by the employee are reviewed prior to release, publication, or discussion with management officials.
The purpose of this position is to help institute solutions to improve operations and solve problems in information management, art and artifact accountability, Secretariat history outreach, and strategic communications.
Incumbent must be able to carry light artifacts and small paintings.

Secret Security clearance as a condition of employment.
