Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least six months related coaching experience preferred.
• Background/fingerprint and criminal history clearance; First Aid and CPR certification.
• Coaching certification through NFHS and Oregon State Component Certification.
• Ability to work with others from diverse backgrounds and motivate student athletes.

Responsibilities

• Follow district policies and procedures relevant to the position.
• Implement head coach’s philosophy and program style.
• Plan practices, games and travel with supervision of the head coach.
• Develop training programs and schedules as assigned by the head coach.
• Maintain equipment, uniforms and inventory; ensure safety.
• Supervise student athletes on transportation to/from events.
• Coordinate with athletic director, staff and parents as needed.
