Job summary

TheatreWashington is seeking an Assistant Head to assist in creating props, puppets, and painted backdrops for 5 productions from June 19 to August 10, while training a small crew of high school students. The role is in residence at Christchurch Boarding School in Saluda, VA, with a salary of $350-$500 per week plus room and board. The Assistant Head will also design one or two plays, with design fees additional to the base salary.

Job description

$350-$500/week plus room and board for 7-8 weeks.

Assists in creating props, puppets, and painted backdrops for 5 productions and trains a small crew of high school students to assist you by teaching basic to advanced technical skills. The production schedule is very tight. The Assistant Head often designs one or two of the plays. Design fees are in addition to the base salary.
