PurposeThe Assistant Coach – Women’s Wrestling is responsible for having an in-depth understanding of all aspects that relate to the Women’s Wrestling program, as well as the ongoing recruitment of and development of student-athletes at Life University. The Assistant Coach performs responsibilities in alignment with the department vision of being a leading institution in performance and meaningful student-athlete experience, and consistently demonstrates valued behaviors of respect, grit, constant growth, and integrity. This position will oversee the Women’s Wrestling program in the absence of the Head Coach.Essential Position FunctionsHave clear understanding of the values, strategy, and operational plan for the wrestling team under the leadership of the Head Coach.Assist in the coaching/supervision of daily practices and on-mat development including off-season development.
