Job summary

PureGym US in New York is seeking an Assistant Gym Manager to help the Gym Manager run daily operations and create a vibrant, safe, and welcoming club environment for members and staff.

You will aid recruitment of Personal Trainers and Gym Floor Associates, onboard new hires, maintain cleanliness, and uphold safety standards while fostering an energetic gym culture. This is a full-time role with benefits and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership ability in a fitness, leisure, hospitality or retail setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly and personable.
• Passionate, intelligent and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry.
• Ability to successfully obtain CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire.

Job Overview:

The key function of the Assistant Gym Manager will be to help the Gym Manager run the day-to-day operations of the club. The Assistant Gym Manager will be an active participant of the team and will play a key part in creating a great place to work - and workout - for the team throughout the entire gym & the members of PureGym.
