Familyres is seeking a Group Leader Assistant in Oakdale, NY, to provide therapeutic services to individuals with mental health challenges. You will assist with admissions, assessments, and group services while helping individuals achieve their life goals.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least six months of experience in the mental health field. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.

Under the supervision of PROS Manager, the Group Leader Assistant is responsible for providing quality therapeutic services to the individuals who attend PROS. The Group Leader Assistant helps with admissions, assessments, groups, and individual mental health services while working with the individuals on their caseload to help them achieve life goals. The Group Leader Assistant works as part of an interdisciplinary team within PROS and may participate in committees, work groups, and other partnerships external to the program.

This role is performed in-person at the program site with some travel to transport supported individuals required.
