Job summary

Leading Edge Extended Learning is seeking enthusiastic and dependable Assistant Group Leaders for after-school programs in Washington, D.C. You will assist in delivering engaging activities and maintaining a supportive environment for children.

This part-time position involves working Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least one year of experience working with children. Benefits include a 401(k) plan and employee discounts.

These positions will start at the end of August, ahead of the school year, to allow ample time for training and classroom set-up

We're looking for enthusiastic and dependable Assistant Group Leaders to join our expanding team in Washington, D.C.

Schedule Ranges

Monday – Friday | 3:00 pm– 6:30 pm, program/school dependent
Part-Time | $20.00–$22.00 per hour, paid biweekly on Fridays

What You'll Do

• Assist the Center Director & Group Leaders in delivering fun, age-appropriate activities
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment
• Supervise students and engage with them positively
• Support transitions, snack time, and enrichment activities

What We're Looking For
