Gill St. Bernard’s School in Gladstone, NJ, is seeking a full-time Assistant Groundskeeper to maintain school grounds and buildings in excellent condition.
The role reports to the Director of Facilities and Operations and requires coordination with faculty, staff, and administration. Qualified candidates have at least 5 years of grounds experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license; CDL is preferred.

The Assistant Groundskeeper, within the Facilities and Operations Office, reports to the Director of Facilities and Operations and is a full-time, 12-month position. This position helps to maintain school buildings and grounds in outstanding condition to ensure full and productive use of School facilities. Grounds work is performed when needed and requested on the school campus, including the Head of School’s house and Home Winds Farm. To accomplish these tasks the Assistant Groundskeeper must work closely with faculty, staff, and administration.
Compensation range: $37,000 – $42,000. Further consideration may be given to candidates with significant experience, education, or certifications.
