You’ll help manage inventory, merchandising, and compliance with company policies while supporting the Grocery Manager in team leadership and scheduling.

The role focuses on maintaining a safe, clean, and well-stocked store environment, driving sales, controlling shrink, and coaching associates to meet performance and service standards

• Responsibilities include leading and supervising daily Grocery Department operations.
• Maintain inventory levels, ensure safety and cleanliness, and uphold company policies.
• Support hiring, training, and development of grocery associates; schedule coverage.

• Assist with achieving department sales, labor, and profit goals.

• Assist with daily operation of Grocery, Dairy, Frozen, and related areas.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and in-stock conditions.
• Monitor rotation, dates, and freshness; ensure pricing integrity.
• Assist in managing shrink and department expenses.
• Support hiring, training, coaching, and development of grocery associates.
• Provide direction, assign work, and promote an inclusive work environment.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure adequate staffing.
• Hold associates accountable to performance and service standards.
• Maintain compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards.
• Report safety concerns and operational issues promptly.
• Assist in achieving department sales, labor, and profit goals.
