Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to help keep the store running smoothly across Grocery, Frozen, Dairy, and Liquor/Beer. You’ll support leadership, train and inspire your team, manage inventory, and ensure shelves are stocked and merchandised to attract customers.

You’ll grow leadership skills, build community ties, and deliver service that earns customers for life. This entry-level role offers advancement opportunities and benefits.

As an Assistant Grocery Manager, you’re a key leader in keeping the store running smoothly and efficiently. You support the Assistant Store Director in overseeing daily operations across multiple departments—including Grocery, Frozen, Dairy, and Liquor/Beer—while helping to lead, train, and inspire your team. Whether you're managing inventory, ensuring shelves are fully stocked and attractively merchandised, or stepping in to lead the store in the absence of senior leadership, your role is essential to creating a seamless shopping experience for our customers. Hourly Pay & Benefit Details

The hourly rate [salary] for this position is $25.35 per hour; Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include healthcare, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility). This is an entry level position with advancement opportunity.
