Job summary

Arcis Golf is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional at Weymouth Country Club. You will support day-to-day golf operations and strive to deliver an exceptional golf experience for members and guests, while promoting a welcoming and efficient environment on the course.

In this role you will work with the Head Golf Professional to manage operations, tournaments, instruction, and golfer development, and you will help train and motivate staff to meet facility objectives.

Qualifications

• Level one certification or greater required.
• 2 years of college or equivalent experience preferred.
• Golf operations background and instruction experience.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of the golf operation in conjunction with the Head Golf Professional
• Track and verify all players and guests, golf cars, club care, lockers, handicap fees, and other charges necessary, and facilitate proper controls
• Monitor the reservation system and pace of play
• Develop, manage and oversee tournament, golf instruction, and golfer development programs
• Assist in training, supervising and motivating the golf operations staff to meet facility objectives
