Job summary

Arcis Golf is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional at McDowell Mountain Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ to assist in daily golf operations and deliver an elevated guest experience. You will work closely with the Head Golf Professional to manage bookings, course flow and member engagement.

The role requires a Level 1 certification or higher, strong communication and customer service skills, and prior golf operations or instruction experience. Competitive benefits and flexible schedules are offered.

• Level one certification or greater required.
• 2 years of college or equivalent experience preferred.
• Golf operations background and instruction experience.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of golf operation in conjunction with Head Golf Professional.
• Track and verify players, guests, golf cars, club care, lockers, handicap fees and other charges; ensure proper controls.
• Monitor the reservation system and pace of play.
• Develop, manage and oversee tournament, golf instruction and golfer development programs.
• Assist in training, supervising and motivating golf operations staff to meet facility objectives.

On The Job

• Oversee all phases of the golf operation in conjunction with the Head Golf Professional
• Track and verify all players and guests, golf cars, club care, lockers, handicap fees, and other charges necessary, and facilitate proper controls
• Monitor the reservation system and pace of play
• Develop, manage and oversee tournament, golf instruction, and golfer development programs
• Assist in training, supervising and motivating the golf operations staff to meet facility objectives
