Job summary

Arcis Golf at Canyon Springs Golf Club in San Antonio is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to support day-to-day golf operations and elevate the guest experience. The role emphasizes collaboration with the Head Golf Professional to run tournaments, instruction programs, and golfer development initiatives.

The position requires a Level 1 certification or higher, 2 years of college or equivalent experience, and strong communication and customer service skills.

• Level one certification or greater is required.
• 2 years of college or equivalent experience preferred.
• Golf operations background and instruction experience.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of the golf operation in conjunction with the Head Golf Professional.
• Track and verify players/guests, golf cars, club care, lockers, handicap fees, and related charges; ensure proper controls.
• Monitor the reservation system and pace of play.
• Develop, manage and oversee tournament, golf instruction, and golfer development programs.
• Assist in training, supervising and motivating the golf operations staff to meet facility objectives.

On the job

• Oversee all phases of the golf operation in conjunction with the Head Golf Professional
