Shadow Hawk is a private golf club in the Houston area seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Golf Professional. The role supports the club's strategic vision, delivers remarkable member hospitality, and helps maintain a premier golf experience.

The position requires leadership, strong service skills, and the ability to collaborate with the golf operations team. Full-time, 45-50 hours per week with a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years as an Assistant Golf Professional.
• Enrolled towards PGA Membership.
• Private club experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remarkable Member service skills.
• Supervise, inspire, and assist outside service operations.
• Assisting with hosting member events.
• Scheduling and training golf shop and outside services.
• Daily management of the tee sheet.
• Proficient in Point of Sales System.
• Golf shop inventory, merchandising, and sales.

Overview

Shadow Hawk is a true Golf Club. The vision for the property was and continues to be a straightforward concept: create and operate a small standalone private golf club offering a rare golf experience. Members enjoy a peaceful refuge from the big city, where one can quietly entertain friends, be with family, or just get away to enjoy a more reserved environment.

Our distinguished membership is capped at 325 total members. Accessibility to the course, even on Saturday mornings, is a given, and rounds of four hours are considered slow by most members, even those who walk with a caddie. A service-minded staff is ready, and the clubhouse space comfortably fits the understated yet elegant feel of the Club. Shadow Hawk has embarked on a journey to become Houston's finest golf club. Over the past several years, we have interviewed our employees, members, and management to determine precisely what our members want, what our employees need, and how we can deliver the best possible member experience. RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal Assistant Golf Professional will bring a tremendous passion and enthusiasm for both the game and business of golf. Shadow Hawk's Golf Professionals must be capable of assisting with the club's strategic vision and upholding our quality product. He/she possesses the ability to assist with unifying our golf team and can communicate with clarity that can be understood on the frontlines. A commitment to remarkable member hospitality and physical asset preservation is required. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Remarkable Member service skills
• Supervise, inspire, and assist outside service operations
• Assisting with hosting member events
• Scheduling and training golf shop and outside services
• Daily management of the tee sheet
• Proficient in Point of Sales System
• Golf shop inventory, merchandising, and sales
• Club Repair

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Respond quickly to Member requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Always provides a professional image through appearance and dress.
• Follows company policies and procedures and can effectively communicate them to subordinates.
• Maintains exceptional Member retention by creating a quality environment through radical hospitality, programming, and quality maintenance of all physical assets.
• Upholds and leads to establish standards for golf operations including the golf course.
• Drive a culture of accountability.
• Make operational excellence a part of the culture.
• Strive for constant and continuous improvement.
• Initiate Member Engagement/Manage Service/Complaints as Opportunities.
