Job summary

San Antonio Country Club in Texas seeks a passionate PGA Golf Professional to serve as Assistant Golf Professional and Tournament Operations Coordinator. A century-old course undergoing a Brian Silva redesign opens this fall, a thrilling time to join.

If you're excited about tournament operations, member experience, and growing the game, we'd love to hear from you. Schedule: typically five days, 40–50 hours, with some weeks requiring a sixth day.

Qualifications

• PGA Class A certified professional preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of Golf Genius software.
• Experience with ForeTees tee time and registration; JONAS POS a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a member-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage and promote all MGA and WGA events in partnership with leadership.
• Own tournament day-of operations end to end: planning, contracts, billing, promotion, course setup, scoring, prizes, follow-up.
• Leverage Golf Genius software to elevate the tournament experience.
• Plan and execute all junior golf tournaments.
• Teach lessons and support junior golf programming.
• Contribute to daily golf operations, including starting, golf shop operations, and opening/closing procedures.
• Uphold and model professional standards across the operations staff.
• Maintain a high level of play in your own game.
