Job summary

City of Auburn Hills is seeking a motivated golf program administrator for Fieldstone Golf Course in Auburn Hills. This role covers planning, scheduling, directing and implementing golf programs across the club, shop, marketing and practice facility.

Responsibilities include coordinating tournaments, leagues, daily play, outings, merchandising, lessons, payroll support, POS updates, marketing and presentation.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge and understanding.
• Operational knowledge of golf courses.
• High School Diploma required.
• Word processing and database management skills.
• Ability to type accurately and operate computer systems.
• Strong organizational abilities and planning skills.
• Experience with golf program operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate golf tournaments with various professional affiliations.
• Organize and develop league programs annually.
• Monitor daily play and provide sales support.
• Plan and execute golf outings and events.
• Handle merchandising, inventory and displays.
• Coordinate golf lessons and youth programs.
• Assist payroll, accounts payable/receivable and schedules.
• Support POS systems and keep software up to date.
• Assist marketing efforts and maintain a presentable club.
• Maintain daily club presentation and operations.
