Job summary

Prairie Highlands Golf Club in Olathe, Kansas is seeking a full-time, hourly First Assistant Golf Professional to join our team. Under supervision from the Head Golf Professional, you will oversee golf activities and assist with daily operations within the golf department, including promoting golf events and selling club memberships.

This role requires efficient supervision of staff, inventory control, and coordination of outings, with familiarity in Microsoft Office and property management

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent; six months to one year related experience.
• Ability to supervise staff and oversee golf operations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and property management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the Golf Shop and assists Head Golf Professional in overseeing other staff.
• Ensures effective orientation and training for new associates.
• Oversee and coordinate junior programs and clinics.
• Promotes/sells club memberships and promotes golf activities.
• Manages inventory, tee sheets, and event logistics for outings.
• Develops relationships with members and supports member engagement.
