St. Andrews Country Club in Boca Raton, FL is seeking an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to oversee maintenance and operations of one of its two championship 18-hole courses and practice facilities.

This hands‑on leader will supervise a crew and work closely with the Superintendent and Director of Golf Course Maintenance to ensure daily conditioning and presentation meet the highest standards. The role offers significant growth within a prestigious club and involvement in upcoming capital

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Turfgrass Management or related field.
• 4-7 years in golf course maintenance with supervisory experience.
• Florida State Pesticide License or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
• Strong working knowledge of turf equipment (John Deere, Toro, Baroness).
• Proven leadership, training, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily course setup and inspection to ensure peak playability and presentation standards.
• Supervise agronomy staff, including training and discipline.
• Manage irrigation systems (Rainbird) and related maintenance.
• Fertilizer and chemical planning, inventory, and application.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and assist with budget planning.
