Gleneagles Country Club is looking for an Assistant Superintendent to join the Agronomy team. Gleneagles Country Club consists of 2-18-hole championship caliber golf courses, the Kings Course and the Queens Course.
Assistant Superintendent Position Details:
Assist Golf Course Superintendent in providing agronomic direction for the healthy growth of the clubhouse and golf course grounds. As directed, supervise the crew, and assist with job scheduling and responsibilities. Supervise the application and recording of chemical applications on the golf course and club grounds in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
2 year degree, preferably in Agronomy/Horticulture. Minimum 2-4 year golf course experience. Pesticide applicators license or the ability to obtain a license within the first 6 months of employment. Willingness and Punctuality awareness. Ability to work well with others and lead a team to the common goal of providing the best product for our members daily.
