Job summary

Dallas Baptist University is seeking an Assistant Coach for Men’s and Women’s Golf to provide leadership, mentorship, instruction, and support to the golf program. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Coaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach with administering a competitive NCAA program, including practices and events.
• Coordinate physical conditioning with Athletic Performance staff and instruct student-athletes in performance principles.
• Recruit, evaluate, and retain club golf participants and serve as primary contact for club members and NCCGA requirements.
• Manage club golf program budget and equipment needs in coordination with Athletics Department.
• Support student-athletes’ academic progress and provide tutoring as needed.
• Ensure compliance with NCAA rules and educate student-athletes on eligibility rules.
• Recruit qualified student-athletes for varsity and club programs.
• Engage in department fundraising activities and support other athletic teams.
• Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
