Role Overview

The Assistant Manager will assist in overseeing gym operations to ensure an exceptional Judgement Free member experience and a financially successful club.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing staff including Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians.
  • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring staff follow superior customer service guidelines.
  • Support staff management and provide backup to the Club Manager as needed.
  • Assist in staff scheduling and supervision.
  • Oversee member service to ensure a superior customer experience.
  • Resolve or escalate employee issues or concerns.
  • Handle front desk activities such as answering phones, member check-in, new member sign-up, tours, and member requests.
  • Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
  • Assist in ordering supplies within budget constraints.
  • Track statistics and prepare reports (weekly, monthly, annually).
  • Provide backup support during employee absences.
