  • Purpose: Assist in designing and implementing activities programs, supervise student athletes, serve as a positive role model, and liaise with schools, community, and organizations.
Essential Job Functions
  1. Attend work reliably and punctually.
  2. Analyze opposition strategies and develop game plans.
  3. Assess student athletes' performance and team placement.
  4. Assist in developing off-season programs to improve skills.
  5. Participate in meetings, workshops, and community activities.
  6. Collaborate with coaching staff on program development.
  7. Communicate needs and recommendations to the Head Coach.
  8. Develop game strategies and practice regimens.
  9. Evaluate facilities for safety and equipment adequacy.
  10. Instruct athletes on skills, rules, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
  11. Maintain records for compliance and organization.
  12. Oversee student managers and volunteers.
  13. Promote the athletic program through clinics, camps, and community engagement.
  14. Respond to inquiries from students, parents, and staff.
  15. Supervise athletes during participation and travel.
  16. Monitor academic eligibility and provide interventions if needed.
  17. Assist in fundraising and budgeting.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure effective operation.
