Job Description

The Assistant Girls Varsity Basketball Coach at York College of Pennsylvania is responsible for assisting in planning and directing the conditioning, training, and performance of our student athletes for the girls' basketball program.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and maintaining discipline and conduct of student athletes.
• Assisting in planning and coaching practice sessions with the varsity coach.
• Coaching team members individually and in groups, demonstrating game techniques.
• Helping develop and implement game strategies and position assignments.
• Supporting strength and conditioning programs.
• Ensuring adherence to all relevant rules and policies.
• Serving as a mentor in basketball and life.
• Building positive relationships within the school community.
• Providing students with a positive, lifelong experience.

Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent basketball coaching experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
