Qualifications

• Active coaching license or ability to obtain one by the start of the season.
• Prior coaching experience at high school, club, or collegiate level.
• Knowledge of track rules, techniques and game strategies.
• Strong leadership and clear communication with players, families and staff.
• Ability to collaborate within a coaching team and manage logistics.
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
• Knowledge of high school athletic regulations and compliance.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting practices and training sessions.
• Provide individual and group coaching to develop athletes' skills and fitness.
• Help implement event strategies and analyze opponent tactics.
• Support game preparations and athlete readiness during events.
• Participate in coaching during games and provide strategic input.
• Assist with travel arrangements and safety of athletes.
• Monitor academic progress and foster teamwork and sportsmanship.
• Maintain team records, schedules, travel plans, and equipment.
• Support fundraising and community outreach activities.
