ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Understand the mission, vision, and goals of the Riverview Gardens School District and the Activities Department.
• Maintain professionalism by acting within district guidelines, MSHSAA, and SNL standards.
• Organize all aspects of the program, complete administrative duties, maintain facilities and equipment, submit reports, and cooperate with administration.
• Teach fundamentals of the sport while fostering team improvement and growth.
• Promote a K-12 development plan through community outreach, camps, clinics, strength training, and work with middle and elementary school coaches.
• Perform additional duties related to managing a K-12 athletic program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Meet MSHSAA Head Coaching Requirements.
• Understand MSHSAA rules for sport and coaching requirements.
• Have considerable coaching and/or playing experience.
• Possess extensive knowledge of sport rules and technical aspects.
• Ability to teach individual and team fundamentals.
• Successful background check by Human Resources.
