Role Overview

The Assistant, Gift Processing provides administrative support to MSF’s fundraising operations. Ensures gift processing and updates to donor accounts in MSF’s donor database are performed with the utmost attention to detail and data quality; takes responsibility for regular data entry, data hygiene routines, and project execution.

Department Accountabilities
  1. Prospecting: Pursue strategic opportunities in coherence with MSF-USA´s strategy, that create long-term value for the movement by identifying and developing new audience segments or donors for its mission.
  2. Donor Cultivation, Engagement and Management: Build trust and loyalty with potential and existing donors. Update donors on activities and build long-term relationships with key donors and segments. Design, develop, and deliver the donor engagement strategy.
  3. Fundraising: Secure reliable, sustainable, and efficient resources in alignment with MSF-US commitments.
  4. Brand Positioning: Drive awareness and consideration through brand positioning based on the brand strategy and implement brand plans.
  5. Best-in-Class Fundraising Systems And Capabilities: Deploy and champion the latest technological systems and capabilities that enhance fundraising efforts.
  6. Roles Specific Outcomes: Data collection, management, and analysis; responding to queries; administrative support; CRM data entry.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum: Two years administrative experience, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, proficiency in Excel, effective communication skills, and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Preferred: Salesforce/NPSP experience, SQL or report pulling familiarity, stakeholder engagement, basic project management skills.

Additional Details
