Role Overview

The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in ensuring smooth daily operations. This role provides entry-level management experience, developing leadership, judgment, and discretion skills.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
  • Supervise non-management staff, assign work, coach, and develop shift supervisors.
  • Perform duties in the absence of the General Manager.
  • Motivate staff, especially during low morale periods.
  • Lead and organize effectively.
  • Address issues promptly and ensure policy adherence.
  • Maintain brand standards and operational procedures.
  • Ensure cleanliness and inviting environment.
  • Manage cash and reports accurately.
  • Resolve customer issues to foster positive relationships.
  • Perform inventory checks and management.
Qualifications
