Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers seeks an Assistant General Manager to help the General Manager ensure smooth daily operations at our Ohio locations. This role offers an entry-level path into restaurant leadership with hands-on coaching and decision-making responsibilities.

You'll oversee shift operations, coach staff, maintain brand standards, manage cash and inventory, and resolve customer needs while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership and communication capabilities.
• Experience in quick service restaurant management is preferred.
• Commitment to excellent customer service and team development.
• Basic food safety knowledge and physical ability to lift/push heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate objectives.
• Supervise non-management staff and coach shift supervisors.
• Handle duties in absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff and maintain high morale.
• Ensure brand standards, cleanliness, and proper cash handling.
