Salt & Straw in Redmond, WA seeks an energetic Lead the MagicAssistant General Manager on a full-time basis. The role pays $28.70–$30.61 per hour with quarterly bonus potential and a broad benefits package.

You will partner with the GM to drive operations, culture, and guest experiences in a fast-paced retail setting. The position requires 18+ months of leadership experience and a 2+ year hospitality background, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of food service experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
• 18+ months of leadership experience managing teams.
• Ability to coach, develop, and support team members with clarity and care.
• Experience in a high-volume environment and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and oversee daily operations to ensure smooth service and guest experience.
• Plan and execute daily shift schedules, task assignments, and team safety.
• Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to Team Members, Shift Coordinators, and Scoopers.
• Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and retention of a high-performing team.
• Manage cash transactions, inventory, and ensure product quality and food safety.
• Assist with payroll, shop communications, and daily documentation.
• Monitor labor and sales performance and contribute to monthly P&L insights.
• Step into team roles as needed and participate in community events.
