Job summary

TITLE Boxing Club Plano is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in executing sales, fitness, and operations at a busy boxing fitness club. You will lead a diverse team to deliver exceptional member experiences while driving membership sales and club performance.

The role requires 30–35 hours per week with a focus on customer service, staff development, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years in a managerial role and/or retail, hospitality, fitness experience
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task, manage clients (via call, text, email, and/or in-person) and team member concerns with approachable energy
• Fitness enthusiast and boxing experience preferred (not mandatory)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the General Manager’s ‘go-to’ resource for daily task delegation, staff management, and communication
• Deliver the best fitness experience by maintaining member engagement and a high-performing team
• Assist with training team members on club operations and sales
• Obtain and retain a high percentage of membership enrollments by supporting the sales team and managing execution of club sales metrics
• Drive the business forward through class packages, private training, equipment, and retail sales
• Provide direction, motivation, and guidance toward achieving individual and company goals
• Establish a fun, safe, and community-focused club culture
• Help to resolve member concerns and escalate to the General Manager as needed

• Fitness enthusiast and boxing experience preferred; however, not a ‘knock-out’ qualification

REQUIREMENTS

• Availability to work 30-35 hours per week
• High School Diploma/GED
• CPR and First Aid certified preferred
• Flexible hours, with the ability to work early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends
