Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a proactive Assistant General Manager in Woburn, MA to oversee daily center operations in the absence of the General Manager. You will guide the team to deliver top-notch customer service and efficient operational decisions.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, staff scheduling, and ongoing training through U-Haul University, with performance-based bonuses and opportunities for advancement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Driver's license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Leadership experience in any form.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager's absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure that customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
