Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a Location Manager for our Santa Cruz area operations. The role supports production, sales, customer service, inventory management, delivery, HR, safety and administrative activities to meet location goals.

Key duties include stepping in for the General Manager when needed, guiding the management team, recruiting and developing staff, and preparing the location budget and annual reports. A business degree and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Four years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assumes location responsibility in the absence of the General Manager.
• Keeps manager informed on status of initiatives, issues, schedules that impact the success of the location.
• Provides direction to the management team and employees to ensure accomplishment of location objectives and goals.
• Assists General Manager in recruiting, hiring, promoting, training and terminating employees.
• Assists in preparation of the location budget preparation, operating costs, and annual reporting of the operation.
