University at Buffalo Campus Dining & Shops seeks an Assistant General Manager to assist the unit manager in every aspect of dining service operations on campus. You will help schedule, supervise, coach, and train staff, and implement operational procedures to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining all operational procedures and programs related to the dining operations.
This is a full time position whose schedule is based on the customers’ needs and needs of the business. The position primarily works a set schedule during the school year, may include weekends, evenings, and late night hours. The position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week in summer, minimum of 47.5 hours a week during the school year, and additional hours during peak periods of business or for special events. Scheduled shifts can vary in length. Weekends and evenings are required.

This position is a salaried exempt role, the anticipated minimum range for yearly compensation for the position is $63,000 and the maximum is $68,000. This role is also eligible for a Management Bonus Program as well as the Professional Development Program Bonus, along with receiving yearly performance based increases that are subject to change or end at any point in time. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range
