Responsibilities

• Support and assist in managing Mar Muntanya, an award-winning upscale restaurant featuring Northern Spanish cuisine, working closely with Food & Beverage Managers and other departments
• Plan and coordinate special events within the restaurant
• Handle ordering and maintain par levels
• Manage scheduling, forecasting, and payroll for department colleagues
• Hire, train, coach, and mentor service staff
• Ensure compliance with laws and operational standards
• Maintain a high-energy, positive, professional appearance

Qualifications

• Full-time management position requiring flexibility, including weekends and holidays
• Minimum of 2+ years in upscale dining restaurant management
• Desire to understand and anticipate guest needs in a fast-paced environment
• Effective English communication skills for interaction with colleagues and guests
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Proficiency in general computer skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Understanding of Utah’s liquor laws
• Knowledge of food and beverage, including wine, spirits, and beer in an upscale setting
