An Assistant General Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager in managing daily hotel operations to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As the Assistant General Manager, you will assist in managing daily hotel operations, including:

  • Leading, directing, and managing all hotel operations such as budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and ensuring compliance with company policies and brand standards.
  • Overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving concerns.
  • Managing departments including Operations, Front Office, and Property Maintenance.
  • Participating in recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating staff, as well as coaching, counseling, and recognizing team members.
  • Ensuring service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and standards compliance.
  • Identifying operational gaps and implementing corrective measures.
  • Serving as acting General Manager in their absence.
