Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team in a dynamic, service-oriented role. The position reports to the General Manager and focuses on coordinating hotel operations with a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction and brand standards.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience as an Assistant General Manager and a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or Business is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years' experience as an Assistant General Manager
• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or Business preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Financial savvy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets and financial plans, and control expenditure
• Oversee hotel operations under the direction of the General Manager
• Ensure guest satisfaction to drive brand metrics
• Ensure compliance with brand standards
• Maintain statistical and financial records
• Set and achieve sales and profit targets
• Recruit, train, and monitor staff
• Plan work schedules for individuals and teams
• Greet customers and handle inquiries and complaints
• Address problems and troubleshoot
• Ensure events and conferences run smoothly
• Supervise maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishings
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers
• Ensure security is effective
• Inspect property and services for quality and safety
