Job summary

Azzip Pizza is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Bloomington, Indiana. The AGM partners with the Store General Manager to lead shifts, drive performance, and ensure top-tier pizza and service.

Compensation starts at $19.90 per hour with a $16.90 base plus a $3 tip guarantee, plus benefits and opportunities for growth. The role focuses on hands-on leadership, team development, and maintaining high standards in service, quality, and dining room cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work at least 30 hours per week including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example through hands-on work related to pizza making, customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized restaurant.
• Teach and coach employees to ensure all team members follow Azzip’s standards related to ingredient preparation, pizza making, and customer service.
• Support the GM in hiring and building a strong bench of team members and shift leaders.
• Open and close the store efficiently and effectively when needed.
• Communicate and resolve customer and employee concerns and/or elevate issues as appropriate.
• Work with the GM to ensure store food, payroll, and other controllable costs goals are met.
• Place nightly and weekly vendor orders.
• Create a fun work environment by bringing and keeping a positive attitude and helping others do the same.
