Job summary

Azzip Pizza is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Evansville, Indiana to partner with the General Manager in achieving store performance goals. You will be hands-on, lead shifts, and be the primary point of responsibility when the GM is not present.

Starting pay is $19.90 per hour, including $16.90 base pay plus a $3 per hour tip guarantee, with PTO, a free pizza each shift, and health care benefits. Growth opportunities exist as most current GMs started as hourly team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example through hands-on work related to pizza making, customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized restaurant.
• Teach and coach employees to ensure standards related to ingredient preparation, pizza making, and customer service.
• Support the GM in hiring and building a strong bench of team members and shift leaders.
• Open and close the store efficiently and effectively when needed.
• Communicate and resolve customer and employee concerns and/or elevate issues as appropriate.
• Work with the GM to ensure store food, payroll, and other controllable costs goals are met.
• Place nightly and weekly vendor orders.
• Create a fun work environment by promoting a positive attitude.
