Applegreen is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help the General Manager run daily operations at our travel plazas across the Northeast and Midwest. This entry-level management path offers hands-on learning and judgment development in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead shifts, coach staff, ensure brand standards, manage cash, inventory, and guest relations, and step in for the GM when needed. Join a team focused on service and growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in quick service restaurant or similar management.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude.
• Flexible and open work schedule.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager to ensure day-to-day business operations run smoothly.
• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day supervision of non-management associates and coach shifts supervisors.
• Step in to perform duties in the absence of the General Manager.
• Motivate staff and positively influence morale during challenging times.
• Ensure brand standards, cash management, inventory accuracy, and guest relations.
