Antico Posto in Oak Brook, IL is hiring an Assistant General Manager with 5+ years of restaurant management and 2+ years AGM experience. This role leads daily operations, training, HR tasks and guest services to ensure exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of restaurant management experience.
• 2+ years of AGM experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day restaurant operations run smoothly.
• Assist with training, recruiting, HR and administrative duties; help with financials.
• Organize opening and closing shifts with a focus on guest and employee experience.
• Provide guidance and leadership to hourly and management teams while upholding our Culture of Caring.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest and employee needs and feedback.
• Assist GM in managing costs, driving sales and reaching financial goals.
• Partner with GM to interview, hire, onboard, train, and develop BOH staff as needed.
• Perform inventories and place supplier orders; inspect deliveries.
• Promote teamwork across all restaurant teams and cross-site collaboration.
• Handle challenges with tact and good judgment towards guests, vendors and employees.
• Work varied shifts including early mornings, late nights and weekends; travel as needed.
