Job summary

Bozzuto in Orlando, FL is seeking a second-in-command for our community management team. You will lead by example, drive occupancy through informative tours, and ensure timely rent collection while mentoring staff.

This role blends hospitality, sales and operations, with a strong emphasis on communication, attention to detail, and creating a welcoming home for residents. Weekend coverage is expected one to two weekends per month with two days off during the week.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years in property management, hospitality or retail.
• Experience with rent collection, budgets and accounts receivable.
• Proficient with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and content creation.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, reinforce Bozzuto standards and culture.
• Collect rent, post receipts and manage delinquencies.
• Achieve occupancy through tours and lease generation.
• Build brand loyalty and drive resident retention.
• Ensure property interiors/exteriors reflect the Bozzuto brand and present a professional image.
• Coach and mentor team when the PM/GM is absent.
• Work weekends one to two weekends per month with two days off midweek.

Primary Responsibilities

• Leading by example, living the standards and behaviors consistent with the core values and culture of Bozzuto
• Contributing to the achievement of established financial objectives by collecting resident rent, posting rental receipts and managing delinquency
• Achieving occupancy levels by conducting informative and personalized tours of the community which result in new leases
• Building brand loyalty and reaching resident retention goals by striving to ensure every resident interaction is positive
• Ensuring that the community's interior and exterior are impecable and the team appropriately represents the Bozzuto brand with a crisp, professional appearance
• Respectfully coaching and mentoring team members when the PM/GM is not present
• Working weekends when prospective residents are out looking for their new home, one to two weekends per month with two days off during the week

What You Bring to Us

• 4 year college degree or equivalent relevant experience
• 2+ years of experience in the property management, hospitality or retail industries
• Exposure to rent collection processes, budgets and account receivables
• Proficient in leveraging social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram and a passion to create and deliver engaging and distinctive content
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• A sharp professional appearance
• Competent with industry software (YARDI preferred), apps and computer programs
• Sales aptitude

This position is eligible for additional bonus opportunities.

Salary Range

$60,000 - $62,000 USD
