Job summary

Villa Restaurant Group is seeking a Starbucks Assistant General Manager for the brand-new JFK International Airport Terminal 6 location. You will join the opening leadership team, help recruit, train, schedule, coach and develop teammates, and ensure high-quality beverages, service, and store presentation during high-volume periods.

The role requires at least two years in a supervisory or management role in hospitality, with Starbucks leadership preferred.

Qualifications

Two+ years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant, cafe, retail or hospitality.
Starbucks leadership experience preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Experience leading and developing employees in a fast-paced operation.
Knowledge of scheduling, labor management, inventory, cash handling and food-safety practices.

Responsibilities

Support the General Manager in overseeing daily store operations.
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching and developing team members.
Lead shifts during high-volume periods and ensure operational efficiency.
Maintain Starbucks standards for beverage quality, guest service, cleanliness and food safety.
Monitor labor, inventory, cash handling and expenses; address guest concerns professionally.
Provide feedback and coaching to shift leads and baristas; support payroll and records.
