Job summary

Jiffy Lube is hiring an Assistant General Manager to lead daily store operations and coach a fast-paced team. You will drive sales while ensuring exceptional guest experiences and safety compliance.

As AGM, you’ll support the General Manager, manage staffing and scheduling, and uphold the company’s service standards while performing lube services when needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail management experience (Automotive, Fast Food, Retail, etc.)
• Ability to use computers and complete required forms
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages)
• Physical ability to stand long hours and lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Oversee cash handling and POS procedures
• Manage inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and schedule team members
• Lead by example with service standards while performing lube services

What You'll Do (Your Impact Matters!)

As an Assistant General Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of store operations -- supporting your General Manager, boosting performance, and ensuring every guest leaves happy.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Opening/closing the store & maintaining a clean, safe, operationally excellent environment
• Overseeing cash handling and POS procedures
• Helping manage inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking
• Recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and scheduling team members
• Leading by example using J Team Service Standards while performing lube services
• Creating a positive guest experience & resolving concerns with professionalism
• Ensuring Environmental, Health & Safety compliance
• Taking full ownership of operations when the GM is away

Requirements (What You Bring)

• Valid driver's license
• At least 1 year of retail management experience (Automotive, Fast Food, Retail, etc.)
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages)
• Ability to confidently use computers, internet tools, and complete required forms
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 50+ lbs., bend, reach, climb, etc.
• Comfortable working in enclosed or semi‑outdoor environments
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
