Jiffy Lube - Premium Velocity Auto (PVA) is hiring an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and develop a high-performing team. If you enjoy coaching people and delivering exceptional guest experiences, this role is for you.

As AGM, you will oversee store performance, manage cash, inventory, schedules, and safety, while upholding J Team Service Standards and taking ownership when the GM is away.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to confidently use computers and internet tools.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 50+ lbs.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store with a focus on a clean, safe environment.
• Oversee cash handling and POS procedures.
• Assist in inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and schedule team members.
• Lead by example using service standards while performing lube services.
• Create a positive guest experience and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure Environmental, Health & Safety compliance.
• Take ownership of operations when the GM is away.

What You'll Do (Your Impact Matters!)

As an Assistant General Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of store operations -- supporting your General Manager, boosting performance, and ensuring every guest leaves happy.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Opening/closing the store & maintaining a clean, safe, operationally excellent environment
• Overseeing cash handling and POS procedures
• Helping manage inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking
• Recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and scheduling team members
• Leading by example using J Team Service Standards while performing lube services
• Creating a positive guest experience & resolving concerns with professionalism
• Ensuring Environmental, Health & Safety compliance
• Taking full ownership of operations when the GM is away

Requirements (What You Bring)

• Valid driver's license
• At least 1 year of retail management experience (Automotive, Fast Food, Retail, etc.)
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages)
• Clear communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to confidently use computers, internet tools, and complete required forms
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 50+ lbs., bend, reach, climb, etc.
• Comfortable working in enclosed or semi-outdoor environments
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
