Job summary

Jiffy Lube is hiring an Assistant General Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales results, and coach a team dedicated to guest satisfaction.

You will open/close, manage cash and inventory, recruit and schedule staff, and uphold J Team Service Standards while delivering quality lube services in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Comfortable working in enclosed or semi‑outdoor environments.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

As an Assistant General Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of store operations -- supporting your General Manager, boosting performance, and ensuring every guest leaves happy.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Opening/closing the store & maintaining a clean, safe, operationally excellent environment
• Overseeing cash handling and POS procedures
• Helping manage inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking
• Recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and scheduling team members
• Leading by example using J Team Service Standards while performing lube services
• Creating a positive guest experience & resolving concerns with professionalism
• Ensuring Environmental, Health & Safety compliance
• Taking full ownership of operations when the GM is away

Requirements (What You Bring)

• Valid driver's license
• At least 1 year of retail management experience (Automotive, Fast Food, Retail, etc.)
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages)
• Clear communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to confidently use computers, internet tools, and complete required forms
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 50+ lbs., bend, reach, climb, etc.
• Comfortable working in enclosed or semi‑outdoor environments
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
