Job summary

Jiffy Lube is hiring an Assistant General Manager for a fast-paced store in Phoenix. You will support the General Manager, drive sales, and lead a team committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. The role emphasizes coaching people, solving problems, and building a winning store culture.

You’ll oversee daily operations, manage cash/CPO procedures, and help maintain safety and service standards while demonstrating leadership and a hands-on approach to customer care.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver's license.
• Minimum 1 year of retail management experience (automotive, fast food, retail, etc.).
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and percentages.
• Ability to confidently use computers, internet tools, and complete required forms.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 50+ lbs., bend, reach, climb, etc.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store and maintain a clean, safe, operationally excellent environment.
• Oversee cash handling and POS procedures.
• Assist with inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and schedule team members.
• Lead by example using J Team Service Standards while performing lube services.
• Create a positive guest experience and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure Environmental, Health & Safety compliance.
• Take full ownership of operations when the GM is away.

What You'll Do (Your Impact Matters!)

As an Assistant General Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of store operations -- supporting your General Manager, boosting performance, and ensuring every guest leaves happy.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Opening/closing the store & maintaining a clean, safe, operationally excellent environment
• Overseeing cash handling and POS procedures
• Helping manage inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking
• Recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and scheduling team members
• Leading by example using J Team Service Standards while performing lube services
• Creating a positive guest experience & resolving concerns with professionalism
• Ensuring Environmental, Health & Safety compliance
• Taking full ownership of operations when the GM is away
